Even when they will be needed, they will be far fewer than for a similar normal business. Also, unlike human beings, these machines need no coffee breaks, don't get sick, will not have bad hair days, won't go through family problems and so on, things that would normally impact a normal person's productivity.

Another benefit lies in the fact that unlike human beings, these machines need no rest or breaks. They work round the clock, rain or shine, hail or snow. With them, there is no labor unrest, payroll preparation, or the attendant problems that come with employing people. There are no advertising or marketing costs since a fully stocked machine speaks for itself.

If the business is home based, there will be no renting or leasing costs. All this translates to minimal overheads. Another advantage lies is that cash flow is immediate; from the moment the first customer inserts a coin, the money starts coming in. There is no waiting for checks to mature and so on. With the coming of card based machines, this advantage looks set to continue for a long time.
